Firuza Gulguna’s mum lights a stove to prepare dinner in the summer room. Pamiri houses are divided into two parts: summer and winter. The summer room stays cool during hot days, but as soon as first cold comes, the family moves to a smaller room which is easier to keep warm in winter.
